Coaster vs Theming

Hi all,

I'm interested to know if the coaster engineers ever work on projects that are totally bespoke.

I've just watched a doco about B&M who've seemingly designed a lot of my fav's but it looks like they're bought based on a coaster design.

Was the Tower Of Terror a bespoke constriction?

Hopefully these aren't totally stupid questions!

Many coasters, including B&Ms are designed with completely bespoke layouts for their park. Is that what you were asking?

Not many B&Ms are ‘off the shelf.’ I suppose the batman clones could be considered such, but few others.

Ah... the doco seemed to suggest the company designed the ride and the parks came calling #newbee

In that case, the manufacturer came up with the basic ride system (Eg wing Coaster, floorless coaster etc) and showcased it to potential customers.

But the ride layout utilising that is customised for each park.
