I always go for:

Si-rer

Si like Spanish yes, and somewhat like the English letter C
the re like in prey
and the last r as in prey
just be sure to get a good r sound...

That's great, thank you...but how do I pronounce "tseer"? Ter-ceer?

I'm asking because I'm going to talk to them next week and I don't want to embarress myself.

I've always said "zeer-rah". I see The "Zier" part as in "tier" and pronounce it the same.

...What? that doesn't make sense.

The "re" in prey sounds like "a". And I can't even work out how to separate the r.

It should be tseer-er

The "ts" at the beginning of tseer should be pronounced like any ts in English e.g. bets, lets, gets. Try adding a slight z tinge to it.

If that fails, I don't think they'd be too offended if you were to just use a z sound.
 
^^ It's really hard for me to explain to you lot. Swedish and German pronaunciations of letters are a more similar that the English equivalents. Might give another try to find words in English that have the sounds I'm after.
Your 'e' almost sounds like our 'i' so I have no real idea on how to describe our 'e' to you lot...

Damn you all, it would all be so much simpler if everyone spoke Swedish!!!!! :P

But yes, thank you for you suggestions. You'll be pleased to know that I didn't speak to Zeer-rah because they looked too busy at EAS. Plus I more interested in tracking down Amanda Thompson for a photo to spite Ben.
 
I believe it is zey-rer, and does anyone know if there are floorless,stand-up, or flying boomerang coasters? How do you pronounce maurer sohne?
