There are no "rules", no-one cares what you count as credits; if you want to count them, then count them.

I would think most people would not count them though.

Frankly I'm surprised that people don't generally count them, at least the larger ones with the hump in. I mean they have a track that goes up and down, a bit of freewheeling uphill, and trace amounts of airtime. I'd say they're at least as "coastery" as a Go Gator or a Miner Mike, or even one of those Disney Intamin RC Racers. However I pretty much work on the basis of what's on rcdb so I don't count them but I actually include them on my spreadsheet as non-counted items, just in case the community consensus changes in the future!

Questions like this are simplified by simply not counting powered coasters at all. Is a Disk-O a coaster? Nope, it’s powered. Is Pipe Scream a coaster? Nope, powered. Counting powered coasters opens up a whole can of worms and blurs lines far beyond my liking.
