Pick the most popular ones, I'm pretty sure that the Mega Drive/Genesis, PS2, etc. are way more common then the virtual boy, jaguar, etc.

Just make it more general, like manufactures, where people can specify which model they like the most.

Don't forget the Neo Geo its probably one of the best consoles of all time. Playing Fatal Fury for the first time on one is still one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

Also the C64 was a pretty good gaming machine back in its day.

The Amiga is not a console - it's a home computer.


I voted Jaguar. It's was the most unfortunately mis-timed console ever.

It had the right idea (the first console to move towards polygon based gameplay years before Sony and Nintendo), but the technology just wasn't good enough (no texture mapping), and the world wasn't ready for it (because it looked poo).

However, Alien Vs Predator - what an exclusive!

Oh, it also failed because it looked like a toilet!
