Futuroscope | Mission Bermuda | Mack Rocking Boat Ride | 2025

Fantastic full-circuit testing footage

Fantastic full-circuit testing footage

Only thing I’m not a fan of is the sudden stop at the end of the splashdown. Feel like the abrupt jolt there wouldn’t be too pleasant.

The rapids part looks amazing, though.

Hmm yeah that sudden stop after the drop looks weird - possibly a safety test rather than real run through?

That rapids section still looks wild, this whole attraction is such a drastic addition for the park, interesting it's not opening until June.

Here are facts about the ride and some pretty pictures, it does look very nice.

-world's unique roller coaster prototype: Rocking Boat
-Built by Mack Rides
-16 meters high
-60 km/h
-Accessible from 1.10 meters.
-Budget: 25 million euros

The cost is quite high but i would love to see something like this at Paultons, the vertical lift is a good space saver.

They will also be getting a bar.

That's delayed even further, as the previous opening date was june 14th. Doesn't seem like testing is going as well as they expected for the ride.

Things improved with the ride compared to what I had heard, as the ride soft opened a few days ago, with missing effects. The first POV of the ride was just posted here, with a spoiler tag.

Shame it appears the rocking motion is greatly subdued compared to how the prototype operated but otherwise it looks like an incredibly fun water ride.

Curious... what did you hear?

It could just be the angle of the POV, but it seems like the water does a good job of hiding the track so it's genuinely hard to tell where the boat is headed next!

What an interesting ride system. I couldn’t quite figure out the theme. The audio gets super dramatic like something big is about to happen and then it doesn’t. Quirky ride

That looks like such a quirky ride system! The ride looks very well themed, and I have to say that as @rollercoaster.jpg said above, the water hides the track in such a way that it makes the ride very unpredictable!

As we’ve got roller coaster track in the mix, though, we must ask ourselves; is it a cred? I’m erring towards no, as only the final drop sequence has any roller coaster track, but I think it could potentially be a grey area like many of these more ambitious and modern water rides that utilise roller coaster track.

Yes it is

Apologies for the considerate bump of the thread however we're on park for the last 2 days and have ridden this multiple times. What a great ride, that's had very little downtime.
However we wonder if anyone will know where on earth the garage is, looked everywhere and cannot seemingly locate it.
Apologies for the bump but we cannot see a definite answer.
Thanks!

They've hidden it well haven't they 😂

It's half way up the lift shaft to the main drop. There's a point half way up the lift can stop, a door opens, some track extends to join the track on the lift and the boats can move through into the garage.
