Gardaland expanding for 2028?

This video and Reddit comment suggest that Gardaland could be receiving a major expansion for 2028 near Mammut and Jungle Rapids. It has been named "GDL 28R", with the suggestion that it could mean "Gardaland 2028 Roller Coaster".


What do we think of this? The video suggests that it could be an Intamin Multi-Dimension Coaster, considering Merlin's recent deal with Chessington for Minecraft World. What do you want to see at Gardaland?

A park thats run like the owners care but that won't happen

An indoor coaster would be great for the park. To be fair, another large dark ride for the park would be no bad thing either.

I'd be concerned if they went the route of an Intamin Multi-Dimensional coaster along the lines of Uncharted / Minecraft, simply from a throughput perspective. But it certainly would work well within the park.

That for me is a whole new aree! They have the ultimate opportunity to create a themed area with a signature attraction.

yes, i would agree if only Merlin dosen't totally suck at doing indoor rides. Take Jumanji the adventure at the same park, such a waste of an old glorious dark ride replaced with a Film brand and black walls as theming.
Aside from this I think they can't build a giant concrete box for landscape limitations around the beautiful lake of garda, infact all of their others indoor rides are underground.
