Hey guys
Thought you guys might be interested in this
I shall be visiting China a few times over the next year and I am planning on visiting the massive Harbin Ice Festival next January. Upon researching it I discovered that over the last few years one of the major contributors has been Disney, Who built massive versions of well known Disney landmarks out of Ice.
The Pictures have to be seen to be believed. Especially the night shots
This was actually done by Disney, Not some Chinese rip off
The classic Disney castle as you've never seen it before
Love the Mickey arch.
Cinderella s Castle, Despite looking nothing like the actual Cinderella castle it does feature working lifts and escalators
Ice Slide out of one of the many castle structures.
It's not just Disney on site. There are massive Ice sculptures all over
The festival has been running since the 1960s and to give an idea of the scale
it's a pretty big festival.
Anyway please take the time to read some of the links below for more of an idea on the whole festival. I really cant wait for this next year . It's a bit out of the way but the flights are not too bad from the UK.

The centrepiece of the Ice and Snow World is an icy fortress that was modeled after the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. The structure measures almost 45 meters tall and 82 meters wide, and is lit up by LED lights.
