Holiday World and Splashin' Safari released today its plans for the 2014 season. After several years of waterpark only expansion they have taken an $8 million investment and are getting a swinging ship called The Mayflower. This seems very generic but the $8 million is geared towards the dry park for a change. The Mayflower will be located near the Voyage and is based off the ship the Pilgrims took to America.

8 mil for a Pirate Ship. Hope most of that is going towards other park renovations.

It is:

Friday Night Fireworks (Friday evenings from June 13 through August 1)
Extended Splashin’ Safari hours
Summer Fun Card program, for multi-day summer visits
New restaurant and shop in Splashin’ Safari
Covered-bridge entry to Thanksgiving section
More cabanas
Additional benches and shade structures
Parking lot improvements

they talked about not being done with the thankgiving area. they will expand it in the coming years some more. I'm thinking anything steel. They only have wood coasters(and a steel kiddie), and its been a long time since a new one! its long overdue! 2015! it will happen!
