Roller Poster
I'm still really scared of rollercoasters, although I know they are extremely safe. It's more the fear of greying out and not being able to breathe, what certain elements would feel like, being sick etc.

My biggest ride right now is Vampire at CWOA. I struggled to breathe quite a bit on that even, so it was quite nerveracking.

Most people just say "oh just get on you'll be fine" which isn't helping at all.. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and has actual advice as to what to do?

Fear of greying out - STAY HYDRATED. Drink plenty of water. Eat food and have plenty of sleep the night before. Same goes for being sick - never operate on an empty stomach or too little sleep, because that will only make you feel worse.

Struggling to breathe - are you pulling down the restraint too tightly, or is this a severe anxiety reaction?

What is the main thought in your head when you go on a ride? What are you thinking during it?

the struggling to breathe definitely isnt about the restraints because they never feel tight for me, i mean it could be anxiety but it seems to be something to do witht he fast air.

i normally dont think much except "Oh my god" which is normally a half-nervous and half-what the hell
