Knightmare to go to Southport Pleasure land? (Or just somewh

The Knightmare train(s?) have been spotted at a yard in Fleetwood which some have claimed is where it is being stored prior to the ride going to Southport Pleasureland. The source information is on the 'UK Theme Park Chat' Facebook group and basically contains a photo of the train at said yard with comments suggesting the pleasureland rumour. (On mobile so hard to link).

Thoughts? Could this be legit or could Fleetwood just be a quick stop on the journey to the scrapheap?

That source, would be me. This photo was taken earlier today:

What you see here is the station track and a train. It is in one of Norman Wallis' yards, this one being near Fleetwood.

Interesting... but wasn't the Knightmare train moved out of Camelot a very long time ago? It's never been seen in any of those 'urban explorers' photos or videos. This could just be where it's stored.

No from what I know, a friend of mine on facebook visited Camelot and got a picture in the train so I'm guessing this is a recent move.

Yeah, I've had a look and can only find one photo of the 'urban explorers' on the train but I also found one where the train and station track had been removed and that seemed to be a couple of years old (definitely before the fencing went up last year).

I reckon the train is the only salvageable thing from the ride now so it's being kept safe.

Just like in his dreams, I'm with Joey. It's funny to think that Knightmare has been sat there untouched for over four years now.

When I last went to Southport they had the diesel dragon from Camelot train just sat on a hill. Maybe they're starting a collection?

Paultons isn't linked to them I don't think.

Knightmare looks fab, hopefully someone is actually in the process of reconstructing it.

IIRC that train has been there for some time, I've seen a pic like this before...

Is Normal Wallis that guy who was in the pic with the model of Knightmare on Southport sea front?
