Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary stardom

Channel 5 have approached CoasterForce to help them research a documentary they are considering.

It's about the difficulties that large people experience in the travel and tourism industry, ranging from aeroplane seats to (this is where we come in!) theme park thrill rides.

The documenatry will be sending out their very own plus size reporters to test out various airlines and popular holiday destinations to see if they adequately accommodate larger people. They want to approach this programme from the point of view of larger people.

If there are any "largely built" UK CFers out there who have experienced the walk of shame or difficulties riding thrill rides due to thier size AND would like to contribute to the show, let me know. I appreciate that you might not want to post in here so feel free to contact me via email or phone (07787 573565) if you'd rather be discreet. I will then put you in contact with the production company.

Omg please can we have a section about fat boats <3

Re: Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary sta

Ah yes, sometimes having a log flume boat or a coaster train full of fat people does make a ride better.

Re: Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary sta

Is this serious? I'm actually crying laughing - sorry to say.

Re: Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary sta

Right then, who's gonna put their name down? ;)

Re: Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary sta

And you Brits have the nerve to call Americans fat? Not only do you tolerate it but are making sure it is a "fat friendly" world?

Gross.

Re: Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary sta

All of us, yes - bang to rights ;)

Two facts came from this post;

1) Ethan is hilarious.
2) I want to move to Korea...

Re: Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary sta

I'll do it! (Seriously)

I may not be monstrously fat but I'm bigger than average AND CF's resident tall person. PM me Mr Bell!

Re: Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary sta

^ On average, most of the Pacific island nations are the "fattest" countries in the world, although I guess that's by "overweight" levels rather than "obesity" levels.

Obese people are the WORST when it comes to travelling. If I pay for a seat on a plane or train, I don't want your fat disgusting ass flab rubbing against me the entire journey! If you have to rely on a motorised scooter to carry you around, a theme park is the LAST place you should be!

Agreed, as a country we are fatter.

I was just poking fun at the fact that every argument you hear is "fat americans", when the reality is all of the developed world is growing at the waist line.

As an obese person, I take offence! You see, "fat americans".

I was once turned away from a Frog Hopper actually, but other than that, I've never had an issue.

If they can send me out to silver dollar city to try outlaw run's new restraint size, I might me tempted!

Actually - I was surprised how many big people we saw out in finland.

There's no way I'd class you as obese Furie, I'm more talking about the real slobs that just can't be arsed in life yet still expect luxury king-sized stuff for everything just because they've eaten more cheese than everyone else.

Re: Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary sta

I want to lose three pounds.

Re: Overweight UK CFers - Possible Channel 5 documentary sta

I'll pick up on it then. Who's going to not want to post on here that they'll take part (and have to contact Ian privately) yet will glady be seen judged as a fat person on a tv show on Channel Five. Lol.

Hopefully it's not done with the view of ''accomodating'' the xxxxl size guests.

Possibly controversial that. Oh well.
