1. Baron 1898
2. Oblivion
3. Valkryia

If you'd asked me 3 years ago back when I only had Oblivion what I expected the order to be it would be the exact opposite.

I expected Baron to do nothing but in the back you get pulled over the drop and get airtime coming out of the immleman what??? Loading is faffy though, not going to deny that, but it is also stunning.

Oblivion's drop is the scariest. The real experience is sitting on the brake run for 10 minutes though.

Valkyria probably would be the top one but the vests hinder the airtime on the drop and I wasn't impressed with the rest of the layout either. Felt slow whereas at least Baron has a bit of a brisk pace to it comparatively.

Up till now, I've only done all European Dive Machines and Sheikra.

Sheikra and the original Oblivion are still my favorites. Krake is to short, Baron only has great theming and the Italian Oblivion, I don't know even after more than 10 years.
Valkyria is the best smaller model.

I should probably wait until I get on Yukon Striker first but ...

1. Sheikra
I just love Sheikra for some reason. The height, the speed, the airtime, the intensity ... whatever it is, she just serves.

2. Valravn
Far better than I expected. I didn't find the vest restraints much of an issue.

3. Valkyria
The best layout (on paper), but it lacks the raw power and scale of the US dives.

4. Baron 1898
The weakest in terms of force, but the theming carries it.

5. Oblivion
I don't want to put it in last because it has the second best drop out the 5, but the other ones are just more complete.

After a recent first-time visit to Efteling....

1. Valkyria - Still my favourite dive coaster. Love how whippy it rides compared to the other dives and the views of Gothenburg from the top are incredible! Also, never had an issue with the restraints on here.

2. Shiekra - Love the classic B&M feel this one has. Just simply an amazing drop and feels super fast/forceful at the bottom!

3. Baron 1898 - Enjoyed this one more than I thought it would. The drop actually had me coming out of my seat in a similar fashion to the other dive coasters. Tunnel was FULL of mist 🤣 This is of course one of the smallest dive models, but it has the theming and is of course longer than....

4. Oblivion - Its okay. Great drop, but that's it 🤣

For me, but with the disclaimer of there being years and years between my rides on some of these:

1. Sheikra - it's got a bit of everything, it's big, decent length layout and some nice scenery

2. Valkyria - I feel like Valkyria managed to perfect the elements it does, it's the most effective 'zero-g roll' I've ever experienced. It's just a bit too small to have the impact of Sheikra. Obviously the views are great

3. Krake - I really love the theming on this, even though it's short. That whole area looks great

4. Valravn - It's definitely big and forceful, but it just feels a bit soulless. The downwards sloping brake run makes me laugh for some reason.

5. Oblivion - It might be nostalgia speaking but there's an element of fear on this that I just don't get on many of the others. It still feels a bit scary.

5. Baron 1898 - obviously the queue building is the real highlight, the theming is amazing but the layout doesn't really do much. Something to do with the theme also takes away from the scariness for me, it feels like a family dive coaster.
