Silver Dollar City | Miner’s Mountain Express | Mack Rides Mine Train | 2027

Hey guys, I thought I would share some news I got today..it’s a rumor so take it with a grain of salt but I thought I would get everyone here buzzing. I was speaking with someone today at an amusement park who has inside sources in the industry and was talking to some representatives from Mack rides and has been told that silver dollar city will be receiving a…mack hyper. Now like I said it’s obviously just a rumor but I do trust what this guy is saying to be true..he has been working in the amusement industry for YEARS at this point and has a lot of inside sources like I mentioned, so we will have to wait and see but very exciting if true:)

I thought we’d already ascertained that the Silver Dollar City project was a family coaster?

A Mack hyper would be brilliant, but I was under the impression we’d already had a family coaster confirmed.

Yeah, its apparently a take on a Mine-Train, as a "direct" replacement for Thunderation. A similar style coaster to the one opening at Wiener Prater next year!
But if it does turn out to be a MACK Hyper, then fair does, that park deserves a massive new coaster like that!

I was under this impression as well..I guess we will have to see but if it does turn out to be that Mack hyper, make sure I get full admin access😏
 
They put a lot of effort into that announcement. Told similar stories a few times and finally the promo video of a really long and tall Mack mine train. Looks neat.
 
Looks really fun for a family ride. But I'm already seeing backlash within the community though, for the lead-up being overhyped 🤷‍♂️ ...still looks fun to me tho'

Community convinced themselves that a Stryker was coming. Two years ago you could already see the writing on the wall. Thunderation is a very crucial attraction in SDC's lineup and it's been deteriorating. You just bet this thing is going to get ridership, too. I have no tears for anyone "disappointed" today.

Mine train looks cool, it's quite large and long and probably NOT cheap in the slightest. This deserved the lead-up that it got.
