So Zamperla had their 60 year celebration and they'd set up a small fairgrounds with a bunch of their newest models, some of which (to my knowledge) haven't been seen yet in parks like the Zarantula (inverted polyp style ride, can't find a reel/post with it tho, but the video is in Zamperla's instagram stories right now) and the large jumping boats ride. The NebulaZ seems to also have new, less bulky OTSRs.
The big new introduction though is Hypnosiz, which is like a Nebulaz except even more confusing to look at. After staring at this for a bit, the Nebulaz looked completely normal to me. Unlike the Nebulaz, the Hypnosiz doesn't have OTSRs (thank god), instead it has inwards facing seats with seat belts, but it has four arms per side, which means 16 gondolas total, each with a capacity of 4.
Just like the Nebulaz, it can load four gondolas (should that be gondolaZ) at once, except it's mechanically simpler in that the ride itself doesn't lift and lower, the gondolas having floors means they can just park low to the ground and guests use steps to get on. This is probably necessary, because it needs to do four loadings as opposed to the two that a Nebulaz does, so also lifting and lowering would add time to loading.
Seriously, Alton Towers needs to get one of these immediately and slap it in X sector. Come on, it's perfect for a Smiler tie-in or something. Looks like especially with there being just seat belts it might offer some nice gentle air time and forward and back movement as well as being a visual spectacle (and the thrill of looking like you're gonna collide with the other gondolas).
