Time for a proper report. =]
Thursday was the plan to get out and do Tivoli World, heavily advertised around the Torremolinos area, so first stop, the train station in Torremolinos. Thank **** it was under cover and I got a bottle of water from my hotel
Few stops later, and wondering about, I found the park entrance. If you ever go there, look for the cable car, its the best way to find it!
They do a system, a bit like Blackpool do, where you have to pay to get in the park. Thats a gefty €7! Luckily it was free entry when I went, so €7 saved! Upon entering, 1 of the characters was there greeting us.
Went to the ticket office, got a wristband for all rides which cost €12, not too shabby I thought. Started to look for the first coaster, but imagine RCT, how you have a centralised path and just little lands attached to it, the park is a bit like that. Trying to find their coasters were a nightmare! Go down 1 bit, and its the wrong area.
Rawr I'm part of a Jungle Train ride!
Managed to find the coaster, but next to it, was Twister, didn't ride it, but randomly its not a Twister type ride.
So onto the first coaster...
Apparently its forbidden to put your arms outside...
Basically the coaster is a rip off of the Mack figure 8 powered coaster
But the trains are different too
Yes, if you want you can queer up!
Walked along a bit, and saw their 60m drop tower, unfortunately it didn't open for an hour.
Its a Moser drop tower of all things! Looking forward to this, so I will come back to that later. Also their Top Spin is next to it, but wasn't working =[
En-route to those rides, I found their 2nd coaster
Oh balls...
Sad Mushy =[ Denied credit!
Though the trains are quite small...
I saw this go round, and it looked quite badly maintained, and the ride op was smoking too =/
Well this is for Ollie, Pasage Del Terror.
It cost an extra €5 to go in there, after seeing some of the park already, decided not to! So here is a water fountain, does look very much an RCT design in a way!
Next up was their main coaster, built in the 1970's!
Ugh, Pinfari!
Rough as ****! Also when I was going round the first corner, there was a peacock in the restricted area of the ride. I will upload the POV sometime this week so you can see and hear it!
Another Pay to Play attraction is the Go Karts
Its a pretty nifty figure 8 circuit!
But they must be fairly quick as you get helmets
This costs another €4 to ride, no thanks, I was on my own and on a budget.
In another area of the park, there was a few more rides, like a Jump 'n' Smile thing
And a ride which covers itself up too
And not forgetting their Ferris Wheel!
This is the Ghost Train
Which included monsters eating a naked chick
They had a log flume...
Contains 3 drops, all varying sizes. But the water was putrid! Glad I kept my mouth shut!
As I was walking back towards the drop tower, I saw the peacock again!
The had a dino ride, which was pants, and extremely cheap. Next up was the 60m drop tower. Had to wait a few mins before it opened, and a few more for extra people. Started going up, had a nice view of the sea. Got to the top, expecting it to hold for a few seconds, but no! Up to the top, and drops you straight away! Ugh pants! Also you get no airtime on it due to the restraints being automatic and pinning you in =[
So after spending 1 hour in the park, I left. This park is absolutely dire, no sense of co-ordination, just felt like a fun fair which is there permanently. Also as I mentioned, is very much RCT like the park. Thank god I don't have to go to that **** hole of a park ever again. Unless they randomly get a new coaster, which they haven't for 30 years. Just another park and 2 credits for me. Bye Tivoli World, hope not to see you ever again!
