What is Your Beyond Vertical Count?

Rather than break down by coaster manufacturer, why not look at a unique element?

Here is my count:

1. Maverick - 95 degrees
2. Iron Shark - unknown
3. Mystery Mine - 95 degrees
4. Fahrenheit - 97 degrees

I don't know if we should count Zacspins or not, but I have ridden Green Lantern at SFMM as well.

1- Maverick
2- Fahrenheit
3- (If it counts) Avatar Airbender
4- Mystery Mine
5- Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge

Not my favorite element of all time, but it's certainly a defining factor.

Ooooo, interesting category.

I'm probably going to forget one or two but here goes...

1) Rage, Adventure Island
2) saw, Thorpe Park
3) Falcon, Duinrell
4) Speed, Oakwood
5) Mumbo Jumbo, Flamingo land
6) Takabisha, Fuji q
7) Mystery Mine, Dollywood
8) Iron Shark, Galveston
9) Maverick, Cedar point
10) Fahrenheit, Hersheypark
11) Typhoon, Bobbyjobby

I wish there was a easy way to look this up because it might take a while to figure it out. I think I'll wait until more people post and use their replies to put mine together.

Thanks! Never noticed that before, but it doesn't list them all.

1. Cannibal at Lagoon 116°
2. Timber Drop at Fraispertuis City 113°
3. Mumbo Jumbo at Flamingo Land 112°
4. Steel Hawg at Indiana Beach 111°
5. Saw - The Ride at Thorpe Park 100°
6. Vild-Svinet at BonBon-Land 97°
7. Typhoon at Bobbejaanland 97°
8. Speed: No Limits at Oakwood Theme Park 97°
9. Falcon at Duinrell 97°
10. Fahrenheit at Hersheypark 97°
11. Fluch von Novgorod at Hansa Park 97°
12. Huracan at Belantis 97°
13. Untamed at Canobie Lake Park 97°
14. SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge at Nickelodeon Universe 97°
15. Maverick at Cedar Point 95°
16. Mystery Mine at Dollywood 95°
17. Dare Devil Dive at Six Flags Over Georgia 95°
18. Iron Shark at Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier ?°
* El Loco at the Adventuredome ?°

So 18 for now with at least three more to come this year. Cannibal has my favorite beyond vertical drop followed by Fahrenheit's and then Maverick's. (Strange coincidence - Cannibal is the photo banner as I write this.)

* Might be the only El Loco without a beyond vertical drop, although it felt like it was beyond vertical, so I'm not counting it.

How do you do this sorting? This is good to know!

1. Maverick
2. Fahrenheit

I was in the very front on both and didn't notice anything unusual beyond regular steepness. Do you get crazy air in the back?

On the coaster search page, last option is "sort by" where you can choose 'angle'. Or click this link
http://rcdb.com/r.htm?na=&nm=na&pl=&order=-23&ot=2

My count is 10. If you multiply 10 by 10' it comes to 100. If you take 10 from 100, you're left with 90. And coasters with a drop of more than 90 degrees Is what qualifies your answer in this topic. Spooky, eh?

I'm going to be basic as usual...

*Maverick
*Fahrenheit (ew Fahrenheit)
*Mystery Mine

I'll be adding Dare Devil Dive to this in December, and I have ridden El Loco Vegas but its drop is only vertical.

Thanks Ian!

Back seat gives the best tug sensation over the first hill, especially on Maverick with the LSM lift-launch.

Saw - The Ride Thorpe Park
Dare Devil Dive Six Flags Over Georgia
Speed: No Limits Oakwood Theme Park
Fahrenheit Hersheypark
Untamed Canobie Lake Park
Maverick Cedar Point
Mystery Mine Dollywood
SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge Nickelodeon Universe

and... Cannibal at Lagoon opened about a week after my visit :/ and I would have had Rage at Adventure Island if the park didn't close 45 minutes after I got there.
Woo, and I hope to get GaleForce at Playland's Castaway Cove sometime this summer.

Rage
Saw
Fluch Von Novgorod
Falkon
