Your Intamin Count

Howie

Donkey in a hat
Well, there's a B&M count thread, seems only fair to have an Intamin thread too.

Somehow, this seems a little less 'prestigious' than the B&M thread, these lists will undoubtedly contain a lot more tat... but still, Intamin do have a fair few world-record coasters in their arsenal, could be quite a good 'bragging' topic for some of you =D>

Go...

*Not sure what my answer is yet, gonna have be researched a bit first.
(For 'researched' read; 'wait til Jerry has posted his list and check that')

Bragging here I come...

Ispeed - Mirabilandia
Rita - Alton Towers
Stealth - Thorpe Park
Altair - Cinecitta World
Darkmare - Cinecitta World
13 - Alton Towers
Colossus - Thorpe park

Seven! Beat that you basic bitches

lols

Edit (managed to forget colossus?!)

Probably worth saying that Intamin have 132 unique coasters (146 including relocations) - http://rcdb.com/6837.htm

- - - - - - - - - - -

I've ridden only 33 (far fewer than I've ridden B&Ms, interestingly). Again, because lists are fun, sorted by park then coaster:

^^ A lot of early Intamins were kiddie coasters that are mostly too small for adults to ride. Also, a number of them have been removed (and scrapped) and plenty are located in parks well outside the beaten path for most enthusiasts. For example, while Intamin coasters can be found in 5 continents (all bar Africa), B&Ms can only be found in Europe, North America and Asia. Fun fact: the only coaster models found on all 6 continents (omitting Antarctica) are Vekoma's SLCs, Rollerskaters and Gerstlauer's Eurofighters.

I have 10 (11 if you count Fuga Da Atlantide, which isn't a cred):

(Fuga da Atlantide, Gardaland)
Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril, Disneyland Paris
iSpeed, Mirabilandia
Superman: Escape from Krypton, SFMM
DiVertical, Mirabilandia
Rita, Alton Towers
Thirteen, Alton Towers
Stealth, Thorpe Park
Colossus, Thorpe Park
Goliath, Walibi Holland
Bob, Efteling

...as always, in chronological order.

It was only a matter of time, right?

14 out of 132, in order of best to worst:

1 Maverick Cedar Point
2 Skyrush Hersheypark
3 Millennium Force Cedar Point
4 Top Thrill Dragster Cedar Point
5 Storm Runner Hersheypark
6 Green Lantern: First Flight Six Flags Magic Mountain
7 Fahrenheit Hersheypark
8 Xcelerator Knott’s Berry Farm
9 Wicked Twister Cedar Point
10 California Screamin’ California Adventure
11 Possessed Dorney Park
12 La Vibora Six Flags Over Texas
13 Disaster Transport Cedar Point
14 Jr. Gemini Cedar Point

Let's see...

Maverick, CP

Fahrenheit, Hersheypark
SkyRush, Hersheypark
Storm Runner, Hersheypark
Avatar Airbender, MOA

Hmm... having worked it out, I'm somewhat disappointed by the answer to my own topic. A measly 16, compared to 30 B&M's. I thought it would be more :-(

A measly 6...

Colossus
Stealth
Rita
Th13teen
Shockwave (Drayton)
Bob

I was almost expecting more, but alas not. Should be getting a couple more this year though and aim for them double digits (like with the B&Ms...)

How long till the Vekoma Count thread comes about; I'll get into double digits then! :p

Yeah, there's only about 100 actually operating Intamins and they're a lot more spread out than the B&Ms?

Like, if you've done America you just, instantly have loads of B&Ms. But there's only a handful of parks with three or more Intamins - Hershey, Cedar Point, Great Adventure... Um...

My list is 53 as follows...

Rita, Alton Towers
Th13teen, Alton Towers
Mine Train Ulven, Bakken
Tornado, Bakken

15 for me, best to worst:

Skyrush
Top Thrill Dragster
Millennium Force
Storm Runner
Bizarro

Balder - Liseberg
Colossos - Thorpe Park
Furius Baco - Port Aventura
Inferno - Terra Mitica
Kanonen - Liseberg
Rita - Alton Towers

9, I'll take that.

Literally none it's shocking! Way less than B&Ms.

Cheetah Hunt- BGT
Stealth-Thorpe
Colossus-Thorpe

Bet I have the lowest on here. I even have more arrows!

American Eagle Red
American Eagle Blue
Bizarro
Cheetah Hunt
Colossus
El Toro
Fahrenheit (Such an underrated coaster)
Indiana Jones
Intimidator 305
Kingda Ka
Maverick
Millennium Force
Rita
Shockwave (Drayton Manor)
Skull Mountain
Skyrush
Stealth
Storm Runner
Superman: The Escape
Superman: Ride of Steel (SFA)
Thirteen
Top Thrill Dragster
V2: Vertical Velocity (SFGA)
Volcano
Wicked Twister

25 in total. Thought it would be more with all their random old coasters like Skull Mountain and American Eagle (that I didn't even realise was an Intamin until looking at the RCDB list).

Skyrush is easily the best though but Maverick and Fahrenheit are also both really great.

That makes 69 then, including all 4 plug 'n' play woodies and all 4 mega lites, but missing Skyrush. It's more than I thought really based on the B&M topic, but I'm missing a few parks with multiple B&Ms. Plus, Intamin have had much more of a presence in Asia than B&M up until now I guess. Interesting, and quite telling, that many parks will install multiple B&Ms, but few do the same with Intamin.

Let's see...

In no particular order...

Cheetah Hunt - Busch Gardens Tampa
Desert Race - Heide Park
Rita - Alton Towers
Furius Baco - Port Aventura
Stealth - Thorpe Park
Colossus - Thorpe Park
Raging Spirits - Tokyo DisneySea
Bob - Efteling
Colossos - Heide Park
Regina - Tobu Zoo
White Cyclone - Nagashima Spaland
Shockwave - Drayton Manor
Thunder Dolphin - Tokyo Dome City
Thirteen - Alton Towers
Kawasemi - Tobu Zoo
Tornado - Parque de Atracciones de Madrid

16, I'm genuinely surprised at that. I always assumed I'd have ridden more Intamins than B&Ms (26 by the way).
