We're extremely saddened by the news of Dolly Parton's passing. She became such an important part of the theme park industry and we cannot thank her enough for being such an integral part of Dollywood, helping it become one of the best theme parks in the world. We were lucky to be at many of the ride openings and announcements she attended. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
A one-of-a-kind Togo ultra twister and the only remaining Meisho shuttle loop, both set in a lovely location but having to share it with one of the oldest Vekoma SLCs.
A gorgeously sunny day to ride a rough looper from Senyo Kogyo, and one of Meisho's longer coasters, which is also one of their better rides despite some awful restraints.
The first Rocky Mountain Construction Wild Moose coaster will be opening at Lost Island Themepark in 2027! Forbidden Lair will be a 79 feet (24 m) tall shuttle coaster with a top speed of 38 mph (61 km/h) and features a station fly-through, a "subterranean shimmy" tunnel, and nearly a dozen airtime moments.

Today Silver Dollar City announced Miner’s Mountain Express, a MACK Rides mine train coaster opening in 2027! Featuring two lift hills and over 3,550 feet of track, it will be the park's longest coaster. With its 39 inches (99 cm) minimum ride height, and no inversions, it's perfect for the entire family. The ride replaces Thunderation, which will be closing on January 2nd.
