Six Flags Over Texas | Tormenta | B&M Dive Coaster | 2026

Or does it have the much-maligned rattle (although I myself question whether this is being exaggerated in the first place)?
It depends... Barracuda Strike rode like a 20 year old Gerstlauer...

Will be interested to hear what Tormentor is like.

Ok, here goes!! I've just had my first rides on Tormenta! I was fortunate to attend the members preview this past Saturday. My first ride came in the back row end seat. Let me just say this.....I never thought I would black out on a Dive Coaster but that's what nearly happened! The ride car hauls ass through the massive Immelmann and huge loop generating massive Gs which are most intense in the back row. The first drop at 285ft and 95 degrees is indescribable. Coming out of the drop you tear into the Immelmann at breakneck speed, then plummeting out of this into the huge loop. Let me just say that loop itself is intense but you go through it at amazing speed coming off the Immelmann. The Gs I experienced rivals and even surpasses Titan's helix. The turn into the mid-course packed its own punch as you whipped up onto the break run. Here you will pause before going down a second drop into the next two Immelmanns. These two, while not as intense, actually pack their own punch and are amazingly fun. Buy the time you hit the end break run you know you've had an incredible experience!

Brilliant news!

Given B&M’s recent reputation, the crucial question is; is it smooth? Or does it have the much-maligned rattle (although I myself question whether this is being exaggerated in the first place)?
The B&M rattle lives on, but it is still an excellent ride. You get surprising little air on the drop but the rest of the layout is excellent.
