It’s a decent-sized plot of land with it and Tower of Terror II gone so curious what might replace it.

Honestly one of the weakest 'straddled seating' coasters out there. Not a big loss and hopefully the park has decent plans with the space.

The goons down under don't seem terribly miffed about it. There was a rumor a few weeks ago that they'd be putting a new train on it this year, removal was seen as a bit of a surprise. Really though it hasn't aged well and doesn't fit the new direction and quality offerings of the park. There's better things they can put in that land.

My pick would be a new water ride, even in the context of THAT park. There's a serious lack thereof and the waterpark is separate admission.

As others have said with Tower of Terror gone and I am assuming the wiggles area must be long gone thats quite a huge area opened up there for something substantial.

I believe the Wiggles Area is now Jungle Rush

I definitely think there needs to be some sort of water ride at the park

Park posted a very out-of-context teaser of prospectors/explorers with the caption "We thought we'd seen it all";

Motocoaster is still standing, they've stripped a lot of hardware from it and since July the launch track has been covered by scrims. None of the local bloggers or social media accounts have thought to take photos for whatever reason.

Looks like a major retheme of their old Intamin Motocoaster which closed earlier this year, including newer trains and extensive theming additions.

A triple post, how exciting!
It now seems that it's not new but a refurb of the Lost Mine Mayhem coaster that closed in Feb.
It will receive a new launch system (new electric tyre-driven launch system), a new control system aswell as new elements on the launch and out on the track, new ATV trains with 20 seats and a new station/load experience, new theming and a completely new queue experience.

I don’t know too much about Motocoaster other than that it was apparently absolutely dire… are we under the assumption that they’re replacing the vehicles?

It certainly looks like some extensive theming could be on the way!

It seems to be an overhaul from Intamin with the vehicles that can be seen on Juvelen at Djurs Sommerland and with theming to fit into Rivertown.

I wasn't expecting this at all and was expecting something brand new or different (like a water ride like Biberburg or Chiapas) but glad they're preserving a coaster for new generations.

Dire is a bit harsh. It's fine, but just fine. It's unexciting but makes for a fairly decent coaster for the younger ones I imagine.

Was just wholly uninspired. A nice little refresh is a decent idea.
