    The Games we play...

Er, any really. Doesn't matter. I've got access to all of them. Alan Wake looks like my next game, because Remedy are <3

    The Games we play...

Days is far longer than most games I buy nowadays, but I wouldn't hold length against a game any more, Portal proved to me that small games can be as good as 20 hour epics. And I'm much more partial to a linear and crafted experience than one where they've made an enormous and barren game...

    "Now Showing"

I see you've been discussing some Avatar. I was nonplussed until I read through these two reviews of the 20 minute clip people saw at Comic Con: For the purists, both "spoil" the first 20 minutes, but it definitely sounds at least worth a watch for the absolute eye candy. It'll be a fun film...

Moon How wonderful it was to see an old style Sci Fi film! Sam Rockwell takes the film and runs with it to Jupiter and back, truly splendid acting. Clint Mansell scored, and didn't disappoint, check it out on Spotify. Duncan Jones, I'm looking out for more of your films, it was really truly...

    COMIC-CON 2009 news

This! In other news, this Lost panel (spoilars), I very very much want to see. And the film Kick Ass sounds really fun, however there doesn't appear to be a trailer out on t'web yet.

Hayao Miyazaki's Ponyo (Studio Ghibli Films)

Princess and the Frog was created due to Pixar: Lasseter wanted to re-open the 2D section of Disney (after Pixar was bought by them) after it was closed due to the rise of 3D being brought in/concentrated on. It's the start of a new series of traditionally animated films, and it looks really...

I am disappointed that you didn't like Eternal Sunshine, Ben. Though, I would say that, it's one of my favourite films. Words don't describe the sense of wellbeing and happiness that I had after watching it. It's just one of those things that clicked so completely that I could do nothing but...

There's a zombie on my lawn?! Still no match for Peggle though. Close, but no cigar. In other news: Australia is moving to ban all over 15 rated-content filled websites: http://www.smh.com.au/digital-life/game ... -cxrx.html Le sigh.

    The Games we play...

I loved HoD, one of the first games I ever played. The art style is really gorgeous too. Annoying that when you die you go back to the start of the level though :C Too hard for a 12 year old. Factoid: it was the first game to have an orchestral score recorded, but not the first game to...

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

For me, the sixth book was the one where the least happened. Or the one where the least plot stuck in my head. I remember the end and... yeah... that's about it. I didn't like the first two because Chris Columbus is boring, the fourth was horrible, I liked the fifth, but I have an odd like...

    The Games we play...

It's not scary in the slightest. It's tense occasionally, I'll give it that, but not scary. It is, however, very very fun. One of the best games for enjoyment I've played on the 360 in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages.

    "Now Showing"

I adored No Country - the way it built tension up purely with cinematography, lighting, timing and acting. It just sucked me in. And I posted that 9 trailer four or five pages back :P

    "Now Showing"

He *was* good in 12 Monkeys, and I enjoyed his work in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (which I should review... lovely opening act, lovely acting, stunning music, story was perhaps too thin, but that might be because of the length of the film. It didn't crawl, but it...

Do you suffer from "man tan"?

Man Tan? It's called a farmer's tan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farmer's_tan Believe me, I know: my dad is really tanned on his head and his arms; elsewhere, bone white.
