338 Wild Mouse at Beech Bend
Pretty standard Crazy Mouse fare. The ride is a bit looser after the unlock so if you have an unbalanced car, you get a pretty decent spin.
335. The Voyage
This one is an interesting one. I've wanted to ride this for a while and I'm glad I finally got the chance. Is it my favorite wooden coaster in the world? No, but I see why people love it. The long and aggressive layout is fun but you've gotta ride this defensively if you don't...
329: Roller Skater at Kentucky Kingdom - I skipped this on my first visit to the park. The crew here isn't very good. The line kept getting backed up. The ride itself is your standard Vekoma jr coaster. I do like the trains a lot though
I've waited in long lines for rides before. After Iron Gwazi opened, I basically spent my day at BGT waiting for it, getting on, then getting back in line over and over again. I treat BGT like a home park and I've ridden everything else in the park countless times so waiting in line for a new...
Phoenix has a few low hanging beams above a few airtime hills. I've felt like my head would hit some of them or I'd come out of the train due to the airtime.
Skyrush before the newer trains had a bit of an unsafe feeling as well. The final turn over the river felt like it would yeet you right...
Its pretty common for parks to re-use names. It saves them money because now they can sell the same merch across all their parks and they don't need to file for naming rights. Most of the public will never get to ride more than one Manta anyway so its not like they care that much.
Even if it is a quality vs quantity debate, BGT still has both quality and quantity covered because they have so many more coasters than Uni does. The park doesn't really have a "bad" coaster either.
A more even matchup would probably be like BGT vs BGW since both have a similar number of...
IOA only has 4 coasters and BGT has 9. I don't think the comparison is all that fair.
In terms of coasters, BGT pretty much wins by default because it has more coasters to choose from. IOA is the superior park overall though,
Loch Ness Monster opened to passholders today. I took two rides.
The station looks like a ship hangar. There are cranes over the train.
Some queue theming. This isn't the only display box, but I figured I'd give everyone a taste of things to come. The desk reminds me of the desk in the back...
For me it depends on the coaster.
I've noticed all coasters develop some kind of shake eventually. Its part of the aging process. The older the ride runs, the rougher it gets. The more frequently it runs, the rougher it gets.
A noticeable rattle on a newer coaster detracts from the...
Before prices went up, I'd always stick with the appetizer and main course. Hardly ever got dessert unless it was a special occasion.
Nowadays, the appetizers cost nearly as much as the main course in a lot of cases, so there's no real reason for me to order them.
The only time I'll ever order...
I'm probably missing a few but these are most of the coasters I've ridden in their opening year.

I've never been to CP before, but my home CF park makes everyone pass through metal detection if you're planning to ride Twisted Timbers. They don't allow anything in the station. Even if you're loading on the DAS side of the platform, the moment you pull your phone out, the staff member will...
I'm sure GCI has learned their lesson on wooden coaster launches. As long as they use a steel structure for the launch and maybe a few elements after, they can mitigate the swaying Lightning Rod was dealing with.
I was there in April of last year for a cruise. Love the Sunset Bar. I just wish the ships stayed in port longer so I could experience an actual sunset on the beach.

You can bring a medical bag with you into the queue. I'm sure they'll allow water bottles into the queue as well. Can't have anyone pass out from dehydration while waiting for hours. A lot of parks in the US have adopted a "zero bags in the queue" policy for quite some time now and medical bags...
