I managed to to a quick pit stop at Legoland Windsor to ride Minifigure Speedway. They were both fine but they are what they are which is small boomerang coasters. The backwards parts on these always knocks me sick as well, it definitely had nothing to do with me having a small hangover or...
Poached very much implies that something untoward has happened and even if you don't think it has/does, why would a business that must (or certainly should) see social media as an integral part of their plans to not have a social media team up to speed in 4 months is pretty poor.
Its not really "poached" if they've been offered more money to work somewhere else (which I will presume is the case) and 4 months is plenty of time to replace them I would think.
So I managed to get over one of my spites as I finally got to ride the Ghost Train at Thorpe on Tuesday. It's an interesting experience, I wouldn't say it was bad but I also wouldn't say it was good. The actors though gave there all so fair play to them. Next week we're off to Skegness for...
I'm scheduled to visit on either the 2nd or 3rd May so fingers crossed for the Wave and the new coaster (hate just calling it that) will have to wait until later in the year. Another theme park visit, what a chore.....
I've still not managed to go to Europa (bloody finances and children get me down) but I would still suggest that Europa has this and fairly easily. Disappointing for me given that AT is only 90mins away. My vote in this goes against my usual guide of only voting for things I've done but it has...
I know the Rollercoaster Restaurant isn't supposed to be great and is considered to be overpriced but my son really wants to go for his birthday in August (who am I to argue with a trip to a theme park) so I've been looking for the last couple of months and we cannot book past the end of May...
Agreed, it would be great for me being 20 mins down the road (I could probably see it from my house accross the bay on a good day/with a telescope) but I just don't see it happening anytime soon/at all.
Western themes are all the range in samller kids parks, Sundown Adventureland, Blackgang Chine, Gullivers Warrington and Twin Lakes all have one to varying degrees. Those are just the ones I'm aware of from the top of my head, I have no doubt there are others.
The Sundown area is actually...
I would love to see an infortmation panel at the end of most rides, maybe those with a story could have some story boards as well. It's what I'd do if I ran a park. I'd also go bankrupt pretty soon as I'd end up only putting things I like in.
So I measured my 6 year old in shoes this morning and he is 127.5cm. 2.5cm from riding this behemoth. With a bit of luck he'll be tall enough to ride by the end of the season (by which time he will be 7), still seems insane that a 7 year old could ride though!
I'm all for recycling but I'm with you , surely there is a better way of spending your money? My kids are getting older (unbeleiveably by 6 year old is only 2cm from being able to ride Hyperia) so I don't have to visit places with these coasters anymore but they are generally so uncomfortable...
