Apparently they're still going to be opening 2 new vintage adult rides later in the year, so it can't be all bad news.
One thought though, I wouldn't be too surprised if any potential new owners try to steer clear of the whole vintage amusement park thing.
That area of the park definitely needed regenerating, so this is just perfect. I hope they've spruced up the dated shark encounter thing too, so it's actually worth the time and effort to walk through...
Next up, sort that now completely pointless Arctic explorer area.
It does look so very nice! And it's so refreshing to see a small park take such a gamble, I hope it pays off for them and they continue to invest on this level.
Paultons could be one of the top parks in the UK in the future, Chessington had better start upping their game.
1 acre is pretty small, so 2018 seems a long way away for such a small place?
Lakeside is insanely populat, so here's to hoping it can grow to be like Nick Universe!
Re: Knightmare to go to Southport Pleasure land? (Or just so
IIRC that train has been there for some time, I've seen a pic like this before...
Is Normal Wallis that guy who was in the pic with the model of Knightmare on Southport sea front?
Re: Plopsaland De Panne | Heidi The Ride | GCI wooden coaste
Don't suppose anyone has seen or heard anymore regarding an opening date? Last I heard was just "July"....
Re: Alton Towers' Galactica VR coaster/Rollercoaster Restaur
I actually sort of like what they've done with the station. The lighting, music and screens really make for a good atmosphere. But that's about it for me really.
I just don't think it really works that well. The lift hill seems about...
I totally agree with what you're saying, I was just picturing what a coaster aimed at thr 5+ would look like, and all I could picture was a Big Apple
Some people on Facebook have been doing a bit of digging and found some info: 62ft tall, with a first drop of around 20ft, turn, then a 49ft drop (sort of similar to Shockwave at Drayton?). There'll be 3 tunnels, plus 3 theming structures, including utilising the Flumes old station.
Sounds fun...
