I think the ride would hugely benefit from a soundtrack of sorts.

Proposing on amusement park rides seems to be a new craze recently. I can think of at least two cases in the last few years where a man used ORP to propose to his girlfriend. Loggers Leap at Thorpe is one..not to sure on the other.

To be quite honest, I think the smaller parks have really wiped the floor with Merlin this year. Personally I think Merlin concentrate too much on the rides themselves and not so much on the experience. Obviously everything is taken into account but I just can't fault the smaller parks at the...

From what I can tell, it seems like a pretty neat darkride, especially for a park like Pleasurewood. It is also great to see such a strong comeback for smaller parks such as Pleasurewood and Oakwood this year. I am liking the level of investment and I hope it continues.

From the first picture in that last update, that skull looks like more like the bow of a ship. As I said earlier, really liking this log flume. Great to see Oakwood make the effort!

I am loving the interior shots of the Log Flume. When I saw the skull, I was slightly put off but judging by their latest pictures, it seems they are back on track to building a well themed ride.

Oh...um is that it? The new additions look good, but I think they could have celebrated their 50th year or whatever in a better way. It looks like they have just replaced some old rides with some new ones that fit the same space. Nothing overly special.

Slightly bizarre looking skull but at least they have made the effort. I do quite like the texture of it mind you. I think it will look alot better when/if it is surrounded by vegetation and more theming. I also hope they attempt to cover up the metal shed/showroom in the background...

What with this new "Edge" casino development coming soon, I did hope Pleasure Beach would make more of an effort to ditch the typical cheesy fairground style rides, or at least make them look more theme park standard. Still as said above, a cred is a cred.

Well I suppose there did used to be the old Battersea Funfair with the Big Dipper coaster, practically next door to the station. Won't happen, but nice proposals nevertheless.

Not sure if it is worth mentioning considering it technically has nothing to do with the retention of the theme park, but I may as well show it. It seems the old Loudoun site may be converted into some form of high class golf course if the planning permission is confirmed...

I have no problems with the repaint. Black is good. Glad to see Alton giving the ride a refurb though. It was starting to get a bit worn.
