Yep I had the misfortune of riding it a couple of weeks back too!
I think it was closed all of last year but they got it back up and running this year to try and justify the £24.50 entry!! It is in a horrendous condition though...
They’re taking the piss calling it The Ultimate 😂
“Please ignore the big coaster at the back of the park, pay us a fiver to put this headset on instead”
I am going next week for the first time since 2006 (pre Furius Baco!), and really hoping ops aren’t as bad as I’ve heard about in recent years!
They are certainly due a new coaster in PA, or maybe another within Ferrari Land to make it more appealing as a 2nd gate?
I’ve not heard any rumours so far, but PA have tweeted the below today, that translates to:
Could they be making an announcement for National Rollercoaster Day?
The Fiabilandia one is SO GOOD, it has dark ride sections and everything 😂
Gardaland also has a cool custom one. Those Italians take their worms seriously!
I had a similar experience on the Rollerskater at Kentucky Kingdom. Was stood in the gates waiting for the back row when a kid came and stood next to me. I said I’d move forward a couple of rows so that he could have the back & then he said he needed to ride with me as he wasn’t tall enough to...
I’m all over this, big fan of the Pennsylvania parks (Dorney definitely included)!

Just a heads up, Odyssey is currently down and I think has been for a few weeks now. Was at the park yesterday, the train is sat on the lift hill. I think I read somewhere that the chain had snapped!
Colossus restraints are the worst! When it first opened, it actually had much smaller, less bulky restraints. So much less that some idiots were able to stick their legs out of the cars mid-ride... They then added big metal plates onto the sides of the trains to stop this but they were a trip...
Ok, I feel like I need to do this as a Intamin launch fanboy...

I thought I'd done more but that's it, thanks to Volcano and Desert Race for the spites!
I’ve definitely stood in painfully slow single rider lines before that have ended up taking longer than the main queue, bluefire and the boomerang at walibi Holland spring to mind!
I went on August bank holiday weekend in 2019 and the area was packed but ride queues not a problem, so can’t see it ever getting too bad there really. Ice Mountain and the log flume were the only real lines at prob 15 mins max and the Vekomas walk-on.
Yeah they did announce a while back that Ice Mountain was leaving, so most likely will be taking that spot. Interesting to see they have posted this as the first of multiple new attractions too, will see what else they have to offer.
Skegness is such a mission but i can’t resist a new cred 😂
For me, the best B&M collection is either Carowinds or BGT.
BGT has one of the very best (if not best, is still can’t decide!) inverts, my favourite dive and Kumba is still an incredible coaster.
Carowinds mainly for the hyper & giga combo, plus a decent invert. No comment on Vortex 😂
