The thought to be cancelled Reflections hotel at Walt Disney World (which was meant to replace the old River Country site) has apparently been resurrected after multiple permits have been filed and construction crew have arrived on site. Disney has yet to comment on the matter...
The Grand Hotel is getting close to topping out. The hotel will open with 140 rooms, two restaurants (one luxury dining and one family option), and an indoor swimming pool when it's completed in 2025...
Doesn’t look like whatever the "Best Kept Secret" is will be completed by next year, as Hansa has announced the 2025 addition to be what looks like a Zierer Kontiki named Einars Fjordfahrt, to be placed in the park’s Viking area:
It’s set to replace the play area in-between Schlange von...
I don’t mean to imply that anything skeevy is happening, just that I think parks like PA and Europa may have an inherent advantage in the rankings by nature of being multi-day destinations for a lot of people. I love going to Liseberg, but as a non-local I don’t feel the need to go there more...
I do wonder if the numbers for places like Europa, Efteling, PortAventura, and Disney/Universal to an extent aren't at least partially inflated by people visiting the parks for multiple days. PortAventura in particular encourages it with how cheap multi-day passes are compared to single-day ones...
So apparently Phantasialand has been using AI art in multiple places... :/

Disney's Hollywood Studios is replacing Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy come summer 2025 with a new stage show themed around the Disney villains, as a prelude to Villains land coming to Magic Kingdom in a few years. Racing Academy closes October 7th.
A fire broke out at PortAventura's Costa Caribe waterpark on Monday. An electrical transformer reportedly caught fire next to one of the park's restrooms, causing smoke to spread all over the water park. The area was evacuated, and Costa Caribe is currently closed for "maintenance work" while...
FYI, this is not a photo taken by the park. It’s an image sent in by the winners of the puzzle contest to show off the merch they received. It’s likely just an image of a coaster enthusiast’s living room wall and not intended as a clue.
Tbf, the cause of either incident seem to have been with the lack of proper anti-rollbacks, not so much to do with the restraints. I'll be more concerned if it's going to keep operating without any further modifications to the lift/trains.
It looks more like they moved the block brake to after the turn back towards the lift hill as opposed to removing it entirely. There's what looks to be a catwalk attached to the section of track above the path there:
On Tiki-Waka there are two bunny hops before the track crosses under the...
A police raid occured at Hamburg Dom Wednesday morning. The operators of the Huss Breakdance Dom Dancer have been charged with embezzling over 1.4 million euros in pandemic subsidies between 2021 and 2022. The funds were supposed to go to repairs to the ride which supposedly never occured, and...
A serious incident occured on Radja River at Walibi Belgium on Wednesday. After shutting down the ride to solve a technical issue, several boats got stuck in the trough and the following evacuation proved to be chaotic, resulting in at least one boat filling up with water and a man falling into...
Mahuka is now ”closed indefinitely” due to technical issues, because 2024 coasters haven’t had it rough enough
