Great day at Wembley last Sunday, some of the lads in the Crewe team I actually grew up with and played football with until we were young teens;
Nick Powell has a big future ahead of him, hopefully that'll be at Man United rather than another top four club.
Re: Wallace & Gromit Confirmed For Pleasure Beach
It was decided quite a while back that it wouldn't be ready for 2012, it was always going to be planned for 2013, due to the changes being made to the actual location of the ride being a bigger job than originally expected.
It'll be another...
Re: Wallace & Gromit Confirmed For Pleasure Beach
Take a look at the photos from the last day or two at PB;

Wallace and Gromit is happening.
PMBO closing in the wind depends very much on the direction of the wind, for example a North Westerly wind is usually the one that can cause it to be shut for the day, but it does very much depend on the direction of the wind, the actual wind speed and how frequent the gusts of wind are and...
For the time being yeah, but there is something in the pipeline and the closure of the Swamp Buggies is phase one of that project so we've been told on PB Experience, the plan is to eventually take down the bridge from Dipper to PMBO and finally put that space to good use in between Avalanche...
Some of the rides were running yesterday and there was a lot of people stood around the arcade entrance at South Pier, so I am assuming they are running again.
It's about time this country got some modern woodies to be honest, everywhere else is building them but Britain. It doesn't shock me though when we have a teenage generation that considers the likes of Air and Rita exciting and claim rides that aren't glass smooth, are rough.
I just wish some...
Thorpe Park - 23rd, 24th, 25th March
Who went: Me, Ash and Peter spent most of the weekend together, Jonathan and Stuart spent time with us at short intervals over the three days.
Weather: Hot! I'd expect that kind of weather in July, not in March!
Ride Count (approx);
Stealth x22
Swarm x6...
You'd look dull and worn away too if you were being covered in salt and sea air all day, every day.
PB are making a decent enough effort to keep their rides looking good, PMBO has had a re-paint along the Monorail route, the Nash is having a repaint and Nick Land hardly looks dull.
Anyway...
Seriously annoyed at the removal of the Stealth SRQ, I think a lot of people who aren't aware of the change will be pretty riled up when visiting Thorpe this season.
It seems like a crafty move to get single riders buying fast track IMO.
Behave, Crewe is in the North West, not the Midlands! :wink:
Hanley is too expensive for a night out, plus it's in Stoke, so I don't like it! :lol:
Anyway, sticking to the topic, the Rev makeover is in full swing, I have heard it'll be ready for June but I reckon they'll be done before that.
Nothing has changed, it's still sponsored by Pepsi Max and it has been called 'The Big One' since day one, it wouldn't surprise me if the sponsor is dropped eventually.
The POV is something of a disaster by the looks of it, it has caused nothing but negative comments.
I'll be going to Thorpe for three days (23rd, 24th & 25th March) and I am looking forward to riding Stealth and Inferno more than The Swarm!
I usually make time for at least one visit a season to Drayton, but that'll be called off this season as there is no chance I am paying that much to get into there and to be honest, I don't even want to pay their online price even if it is much more reasonable.
Their coasters are average at...
Oi! :P
Can't beat a bit of banter, only problem is people get too involved with it now and get a bit carried away.
I think Rev will look great once it's finished tbh.
No, not rubbish, when I am telling you there is no room, I mean it;
Remember this is Pleasure Beach, not Alton Towers, so it isn't going to be a short "blink and you'll miss it" type ride, it'll actually be longer than a minute and I find it hard to believe anything of any note will be able...
Lol, such an arsehole. :lol:
I never said everyone has had a difficulty in the past, but not everyone is perfect and mocking people because they didn't place a letter in the correct place is very low, but I guess for someone like yourself, you have to mock others to make yourself feel better...
