Hi Jenna
I've not seen any rumours of a stand-up coaster for Towers. I'd be very surprised as that type of coaster isn't very popular anymore. Personally in terms of new attractions i think Alton Towers needs more indoor rides... certainly an indoor rollercoaster would be nice!
I have visited...
Hi!
Yep, UK resident indeed.
I'm not sure Alton Towers project qualifies as an "upcoming confirmed ride" at this point. There's never been an official announcement and it has essentially been in limbo for 5 years now with no construction taking place. My feeling is the essence of the project...
Speaking of new rides at Efteling, the new Ravenring attraction and it's surrounding show and facilities will all open on December 1st!

Always love to read reports from people who have loved the park as much as i do, particularly when they enjoy a lot of the same things!
One of my all time favourite theme park memories is approaching Vliegende Hollander from the entrance side (unintentionally) meaning my family had no idea what...
Just been to Efteling. There's already loads of work going on at the site with diggers at work (in a thunderstorm no less).
There's a path round the side of the park that leads to the Bosrijk village accommodation (where we stayed) and it looks like the coaster will wrap all around this area...
Following the official reveal of the new Efteling vehicles, i wondered what upcoming confirmed rides you are most anticipating?
For me:
1. Efteling Missie Luminar. I think this is going to be incredible. The theming will surely be world class and the unique flying style looks really fun...
Our first time riding Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris. In my opinion, this is the best themed rollercoaster ever made. The layout is just incredible, from the immediate drop into the tunnel, the multiple lift-hills, the splashdown, the views everywhere and the final exhilarating tunnel...
They've been showing the trailer at various locations the past week. The footage is from existing Universal parks rather than any indication of what will be appearing at the UK park.
Crazy Bats is a very old ride that could house a major new attraction but you'd only be producing parallel capacity rather than increasing it. Of course they are very creative and could add multiple attractions in the space.
I suspect Universal will open in the UK before any construction...
I had 6 new creds today as i visited Canada Wonderland!
Technically my last ride of the day was Leviathan, which was also my favourite! Immediately in my top 10, just a classic B&M with the smoothness, the roar, the speed and just the right level of intensity. I would have ridden it again but...
There is no mention of dark ride elements but equally i'd be very happy if there were considering the quality of Eftelings offerings. Efteling is a park with a heavy focus on storytelling and immersion, that's what people go for.
It's also a launch coaster remember so its not like ride time...
The press release says it will be their longest coaster with a ride time of 2 minutes.

What's the other top two park?
Glad you still managed to have a great time under the circumstances and you have a lot of excellent rides to go back for by the sound of it!
Efteling are super chill, you can record on everything with Meta glasses too. The only ride where i even asked about glasses was Baron 1898 for obvious reasons.
