Hopefully they’re not a hassle to get in/out of. One of the brilliant things about FLY is how simple it is to embark/disembark compared to other flyers. I hope Vekoma has found a way to make it work equally frictionless here.

Presumably, it'll load quite similarly to Tron and the bike-style coasters, which is simple enough. The quirk here is there's no floor or surrounding vehicle to step "into", which could feel a bit unnatural depending on how low to the floor the seat is in the station, maybe.

Just been to Efteling. There's already loads of work going on at the site with diggers at work (in a thunderstorm no less).

There's a path round the side of the park that leads to the Bosrijk village accommodation (where we stayed) and it looks like the coaster will wrap all around this area so both the construction and the finished ride will be very visible!

It looks like it lowers down into a seating position for loading. There’s a large hinge mid way down. Maybe it lifts up to put you into the position once loaded

Looks like we'll get a much better look at this project at IAAPA EMEA this year.

Vekoma uploaded an animation of Ravenring. The comments are of course clowning on it because it's not an intense coaster, but anyway, it is basically one of those Matterhorn/Flying Bobs/Thunderbolt/Feria Swing/etc swinging out music express style rides except the wave track can be lowered for flat loading and the swing out effect is much larger with suspended gondolas on an arm. What I hadn't noticed in any press material before is they provide a handbrake for the swinging, so riders can slow down the swing if they want.
