Had to see it myself today! They've dug the trench for the first drop. I took pictures but I can't upload them, unfortunately I always get an error message. Very excited to finally see it happening :D Edit: I finally was able to upload the picture of the construction site. It appears to be...

Europa Park | Voltron | Mack Rides Stryker Coaster | 2024

Yes, thats basically the reason. Any less than vertical requires less power to launch the cars.

Europa Park | Voltron | Mack Rides Stryker Coaster | 2024

There’s actually a reason for that. In the documentary they explained it’s because you need more power to get a train up 90 degrees while on the other hand beyond vertical is for the launch the same as for example 70 or 80 degrees but upside down. This doesn’t matter for the launch as long as...

    Energylandia | Abyssus | Vekoma Shockwave+ | 2021

Maybe the track banks to the opposite direction just before the curve a little bit and then into the curve and the camera is stabilizing it? I watched the first launch many times now and you see the track banking ever so slightly to the left, then to the right into the curve. edit: look on the...

What is the most surprising airtime moment you’ve experienced in your enthusiast career?

For me it was on Oziris in Parc Asterix. That little moment after the vertical loop when the track goes straight for a bit before entering the immelmann was totally unexpected airtime for me. For a brief moment i thought I was falling. Yukon Striker has the same moment after the loop.

Universal IoA | Jurassic World VelociCoaster | Intamin Blitz | 2021

I think those pictures are a few weeks old. You can see the wall next to the path is still up on the pictures. They did a lot of work since then i guess. btw I absolutely love how this coaster looks!
