You close five whole rides without warning, including one of the most famous coasters on the planet. It wasn't like it wasn't planned. They also forgot to announce the removal of one of the worlds tallest flat rides.

I just can't believe Six Flags isn't announcing these closures ahead of time. It doesn't hurt to give a heads up, especially with freaking Kingda Ka of all rides.
As far as I'm aware, there's no swing launch. There was one in a leaked rendering from a few years ago, but that's clearly no longer accurate (there's no room for it because of the showbuilding).
CoasterStudios is claiming that Kingda Ka is closing this off-season and it won't be announced ahead of the closure. If that's true people will be angry.
I know that it doesn't really matter, but I was hoping we'd see something in another corner of the park. This will be three coasters right on top of each other back to back to back. I thought we'd see the next coaster over by Lightning Rod and the rapids.
Having been on a tilt drop before (Escape from Gringotts), it's not really similar to a dive coaster drop at all. The main thrill is the feeling as the track tilts, the drop is just the bonus. I think both can co-exist in the same park.

Not really. Only certain small sections of the coasters are outside the mountain, and Alpenfury will be the only one visible from the main viewpoint (the front entrance). It's a lot less crowded than you'd think. The mountain is also the most iconic thing in the park, messing with it would annoy...
