What's new

Dollywood building a new indoor coaster in Wildwood Grove for 2025?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I thought Fire in the Hole 2.0 was a huge project?

Maybe not $50m huge, admittedly, but I seem to remember it being pretty big and being built for a very long time, anyhow.
It was $30m, I believe.

I know that it doesn't really matter, but I was hoping we'd see something in another corner of the park. This will be three coasters right on top of each other back to back to back. I thought we'd see the next coaster over by Lightning Rod and the rapids.
I'm not sure if it's going to be an indoor coaster. Honestly, I hope it's a slow-moving darkride themed to the "big bear"

Given the concept art and description that's out there, it definitely seems to have a very developed dark ride park. That and being in the family area of the park makes me think it will be some kind of MDC, or a Mack Arthur ride system. Both some of the best coaster ride systems at presenting dark ride scenes. The building is about the same size as Arthur's building as well.
