Recently returned from a trip to one of my major bucket list parks, Magic Mountain, and what a trip it was.
With a friend in the airline industry I managed to get an ultra cheap flight out to LAX for a two night trip from the UK, an opportunity i absolutely could not turn down. Magic Mountain...

I wasn't sure where abouts on Google Earth this is, but it sounds like it's a big site for a potential attraction!
Hi guys. I was just reading through Screamscape when I found this interesting item from quite a while ago that I'm surprised no one has picked up on:
Sounds very interesting, especially if it is to carry the same theme as the ride it is replacing! What do you guys think?
P.S. Here's the...
I know the only evidence of this is an Instagram story post that I just came across, but apparently, news recently shows that there are current talks for Hershand Family Entertainment to buy Six Flags Over Texas (with the possible mention of St Louis and Over Texas) by 2021 (for Over Texas...
I think both of these coasters are excellent launch coasters. Premier rides did a great job with both. My question to you is which coaster do you prefer. I would have to give the edge to Mr Freeze because of the intense backward launch and i cant get enough of that inverted top hat.
Recently hearing the news about Firehawk (formerly known as X-Flight at Geauga Lake) at King's Island shutting down, I decided to make this thread. Since Geauga Lake was my home park, I have many fond memories of the park. Sadly, by the time I was tall enough to ride most of the coasters, the...
One thing that has been bugging me is what could be changed for theme park halloween events, such as Alton Towers Scarefest, Thorpe Park Fright Nights, Halloween Haunts, Halloween Horror Nights, Six Flags Fright Fest, etc.
What would you see change? What do you want to see added or removed?
Hi guys. Sorry if this already has a thread, but Themed Reality on Facebook has stated that Six Flags may potentially be in talks to buy SeaWorld. They are apparently a very reliable source. Here's what Behind The Thrills had to say on the matter...
Hi guys. Sorry if there's already a thread like this, but I seem to remember that when Six Flags purchased Waterworld Concord last year and then Darien Lake and co this year, they said that it was part of a strategy to acquire more parks. So; what parks do you guys reckon Six Flags could...
Hi guys. I know that many of Six Flags' additions for next year already have threads, but I decided to make this one to summarise Six Flags' additions for next year into one place. To start, here's the video:
Now, if you don't want to watch the video, I'll just quickly summarise what each park...
Someone on Discord noticed that there was a new page on the Six Flags website, with the tag 'Springfield'. Right now, this website just says "Access Denied", however scrolling down to the bottom gives you some links you're able to click on, including the Rides and Directions tabs. The Rides page...
hey y'all!! i got the chance to head on down to six flags magic mountain last night and ride crazanity a total of 3 times, so here's my in-depth review!! i'll give you a spoiler: i was pretty underwhelmed, and a lot of people i spoke with shared by same sentiment (while the ride looks insane...
so last night, i had a multi hour car ride back home from vacation and i was looking over some of the six flags trademarks, and one in particular stood out to me, west coast racer. while a lot of people i heard were pretty confident that it would be for six flags magic mountain as their new 2019...
Screamscape has posted an update onto their site about a possible new coaster going into the spot of the spot of the deceased Deja Vu coaster. It will have been 4 years since heir last coaster, Twisted Colossus. Apparently SF have been wanting a B&M dive machine, but are now eyeballing Time...
Hi guys. Sorry if there's already a thread for this, but according to Thursday's Screamscape news update, construction walls have gone up around an old "waterworks" (?) attraction in the Golden Kingdom area of Six Flags Great Adventure. Lance seems to think that this could potentially be early...
Come Friday the 1st of June and we'll honor Six Flags Astroworld (June 1 1968 - October 30 2005) in Houston, Texas with the 50th Anniversary of its Grand Opening!
What were your fond memories of this theme park?
Six Flags Great America has just announced that they are tearing down the old "Pictorium" IMAX theater of 39 years. When it opened, it brought brand new technology to the theme park industry. However, in recent years, the space has rarely been used. Its last major use was in 2011-2013, when the...
