Hi guys. So often in theme park enthusiasm, there’s a consensus opinion on certain things; certain rides, attractions and parks are loved, while others are hated. But have you got any attractions or parks that you feel as though you really shouldn’t like, but you just do? Any theme park-related...
So, I've checked for evidence (if you guys wanna check it out too) but Wildcat at Frontier City has no visible website anymore. Now, I'm taking this with a pinch of salt but there was also a video recorded by a member of Frontier City Thrills on Facebook that showed Wildcat, then flashed to an...
I recently came across this article about a theme park called "Honkytown" (https://statorec.com/secret-theme-park-discovered-white-people-go-act-racist/) although i'm not certain that it ever really existed. But it got me interested in theme parks with a dark past or outdated culture (whether...
I mean it has it all. A crazy first drop into the best air time ejaction hills on any roller coaster i have ridden through the whole ride with turning and flipping elements between it. Just WOW! Best thing, i live 30 mins away from that theme park lol.
What is your opnion on it ? Do you think...
I so often see people with the mindset of "If the theme park does not have at least 5 roller coasters which are going over one specific speed and are this tall iam not going there". Theme parks are not designed for that and that is not the pourpouse of a theme park. It is already in its name...
According to Blooloop, as well as various Japanese media sources, a $1.2bn theme park is being built in Yokohama in Japan, a region not too far from Tokyo. The park is apparently being built on 242 hectares of land that were agreed for theme park use in April 2020, and it is said to be similar...
Hi guys. Some of you may have seen that I posted some concept art from a past Six Flags Dubai proposal (if you haven’t, here it is: http://www.themeparx.com/six-flags-dubai/), and posting this got me thinking of all of the various cancelled theme park projects that I would really have loved to...
Hi guys. I was just reading a really interesting blog post on Cupcakes and Coasters (@nadroJ's blog) about her predictions for the 2020s in the theme park industry, and it got me thinking about my personal predictions for what the 2020s could hold in the theme park industry. So I made this topic...

Can't wait for a name and theme announcement!
There is only one article on this so far but not available to see in the European region, but Kennywood will be retracking Thunderbolt and it won't operate over halloween

Just seen Amusement Insiders video on the Q2 Stock Holders call. For now, it is said that Canada's Wonderland have green light on the hotel, apparently announcing something on August 14th and there's possibly one or two more coasters (other than Kings Island) in 2020...and it could be a smaller...
For me, the parks with the best entrances are:
•Islands of Adventure ('The Adventure Begins/Lives On' ? Also the music is great)
•Alton Towers (I absolutely love the entrance music here and Towers Street always gets me excited)
•PortAventura World (Mediterranìa is a brilliant and beautiful...

Looks okay. 3 new 'fears' for 2019 - yet to be revealed, but...come on?
A scarier upgrade to Jungle Escape, a new Creek Woods Sawmill Ltd maze and a Fright Nights show - could tell it from each description! ?
First off, as a joke, at least I'm not starting my posts recently with "I've been told" lol ?.
But seriously, I've just found this image of a shipment and it looks like a Zamperla attraction will join Carowinds in 2020. The article from Coaster Net, states that three attractions they think it...
This should be a good fit for Le Pal...

So this is basically a clone of Atlantica Supersplash at Europa Park and I'm very excited for Le Pal's future. Cause they are building this and that new Pal Savana Reserve hotel resort for 2021 too.

I wasn't sure where abouts on Google Earth this is, but it sounds like it's a big site for a potential attraction!
