Re: €250m expansion for Walt Disney Studios Park, Paris
I wish there was a 'Like' button on CF sometimes. I have nothing major to do but I totally agree with Jordan.
What is so great about the original Magic Kingdom parks is that the vast majority of the attractions have absolutely nothing to do with the films. The only land that was really dedicated to that was Fantasyland. All the other rides and shows in other lands have new stories to tell. They need to seriously think about this.
However, it is worth bearing in mind that the studio parks are all about the movie tie-ins because that is essentially what a 'studios' park is.

I say it in every Disney topic, but we KNOW they're capable of awesome, original storylines, themes, etc. I LOATHE movie tie-in rides. I'm sure the Toy Story area is great, but it just seems to me to be the easy way out. I'm really excited about the two new areas being built at HKDL, and would really love to see a similar project at my 'home' Disney park.
