Alabama Splash Adventure is teasing a 2021 addition!
Yh absolutely!Well looks like the SR2 theory is gone now that the trains are actually to be for NYNY. I am still sticking with my Raptor guess. Also @Coaster Chall YouTube might be time to update that video lol
I remember that at the 2019 ACE Winter Warm Up at Carowinds, Dan Koch and another higher up at Alabama Splash Adventure told us that they were considering adding a new coaster in the near future. The three options presented were a Gravity Group family wooden coaster (they mentioned it being similar to Kentucky Flyer), a Gerstlauer EuroFighter (they mentioned Tantrum), and a ProSlide water coaster (they mentioned like Wildebeest at Holiday World). I voted for the Gerstlauer EuroFighter, and apparently it was the most popular option of the three. During the presentation, they mentioned that the earliest this coaster could open would be 3 years from then, so I'm very confident that this 2021 addition will be one of those coaster options.
All of those sound like really solid options, but I don’t think a Raptor should necessarily be ruled out, as those seem to be flying off the shelves lately!
Yep, Hopefully one of the independent uk parks is paying attention as it could quite easily put them back on the map!Agree, Raptors have finally become what they have meant to be and parks are taking a hard look at them.
ProSlide Water Coaster it is, then. This huge investment going to the water park makes sense, seeing as how it's definitely more popular than the dry park, but I would've much rather seen a new thrill coaster coming to the dry park.
lol I hate my home park
Yet again jerk people around with the thought of a new coaster
I just think that they would've capitalized on that if they were getting a slide like that. Something like that is incredibly marketable, and I'm sure they would've mentioned that in the announcement. I think it'll be just a basic racing slide.
