Looking over the SW7 plans, I found this substation thing. Does anybody have a idea what it is? Or if it is unkown, could this be a part of the 'world's first'?

A substation is exactly what it says it is, it's for power, that's it.

It doesn't look much from the ground, but you do get a good idea just how big the area is from the top of Blivvy. Nemesis is a fine example of what can de done with limited space.

Did the plans mention anything on cutting down some trees to fit the station in? I am very surprised how the whole coaster is going to fit in there. Should be very interesting to see it completed.

Yes, the plans talk about cutting down some trees (and planting some others).

Does anybody know if alton towers are allowed to make a deepish hole where the station will be based at? Or does the council only allow them to dig a certain limit?
