Will get pelted as a Dark Knight fanboy now, but Heath put on the best show for me. Nicholson is a brilliant actor but he didn't seem as crooked or cracked as I would expect the joker to be, well not compared to Ledger.
Heath payed homage to him more then did exactly what Jack did. You can see the similarities.. but Heath created his own, unique Joker.. which is what made it such an awesome character.
When looking at both movies, Heath's definitely stood out more.. simply because he wasn't as a main center of attention like Jack's version was.
I chose Heath's, simply because his portrayal was one of the best I've seen... and I am no fanboy.
^^ I agree with Marc. Mark Hamill did pretty cool in the game, but Heath Ledger played a beast Joker. He took it to a whole new level with him being a psycho and all.
Well I have only seen the one with Heath in. But he was great. I loved the acting he did. Probally the main reason I enjoyed the film. It would of been half the film it was without him.
My favourite was Cesar Romero from the tv series. I found the first few Batman films **** so never bothered to watch the rest of them.
The tv series was brilliant becuase I thought it was all proper when I was younger but when I got older I realised it was like a comedy with all the funny lines and acting.
I thought he was amazing, nothing to do with him getting all dead after filming it.
Jack was amazing as The Joker, really, really amazing, but he didn't seem quite so mad and off the chain as Ledger's Joker did, which is whta makes me think he was the better Joker.
Nicholson, good creepy actor as was he in the shining. Heath was good but I can't help feeling that that his death overshadowed his great role and so he never got justice for his great role as a small percentage...how to not sound offensive or like I don't like his acting when I say it...a small percentage of people may jump on the bandwagon of 'already fans'-people, because he died and they want to show respect. Ok i'll shut up now LOL
Ledger deserved it. Nicholson did it well and he was good but Ledger took it that step further. Its like deep inside he knew how to play it. It was just so evil and twisted. He was a nutcase (the joker, not Ledger, even if he did OD)
I understand you 100%, but i'm saying there are a few people who you see admire him who only do because he's died, not to sound harsh, but the majority of fans are correct he was good at it, just Nicholson did it best in my eyes, but maybe because he was first I can't quite put my finger on it.
