In other words, for now I don't think that there are "others" outside of the U.S. We can scratch the bottom three choices.

Do you even read people's replies to you topics?

^ You could just look up the impulse list on rcdb.

Screaming Condor, Leofoo Village Theme Park, Taiwan
Steel Venom, Valleyfair, USA
V2, SFDK, USA
Vertical Velocity, SFGAm, USA
Voodoo, Dorney, USA
Wicked Twister, USA
Linear Gale, Tokyo Dome City, Japan

So Screaming Condor is the only one besides Linear Gale outside the US.
I was trying to find some coasters that were basically the same as those but were not called "Twisted Impulse" by rcdb (or made by Intamin). I thought that might be what I would find in Europe. I had no luck. And yes, there is the Screaming Condor too.

^^ Of course I read people's replies. In fact I think that is almost all I'll do now. (Being that it is the off-season in the U.S. there may not be that much for me to write about now. It is the time to look at old trip reports or topics concerning coasters I plan to ride next year.)

Twisting does just about nothing to me. It's heartlined anyways, so you barely feel anything.

You're telling me you can't feel anything when you're sitting in the back seat of Wicked Twister? I seriously hope that's a joke. Whether the twist is heartlined or not, you still feel it.

I really, really liked VooDoo.

However, Wicked Twister is clearly gonna be cooler. All I heard was "OMFG, back seat of Wicked Twister <3 <3 <3", lol.

^It is quite the unique feeling. Looking down on the whole train, completely twisted is quite fun. The floating you get is also quite nice, and the G's in the twist are strong.. lats that is.

My only complaint is that you get a complete twist ONE time. I prefer the front.. simply for the view.

I've only been on Wicked Twister and V2 at Discovery Kingdom so never a conventional one.
V2 was by far better but they were both great.

Wicked Twister is the onl yone that I know of that has two twists and I think that it is rather smooth compared to the POS nest to it. (DT)

I didn't feel crap in the back seat of Wicked Twister. I felt turning, but there aren't any laterals (how you get laterals on a ride that is seriously almost perfectly heartlined and completely lacks turns is beyond me - it's certainly nothing you can feel) or anything like that.

As for the "airtime"? Oh please. It's just freefall, and if that was any good, S:TE would've been something other than a 20-second snoozefest, and I wouldn't always be ripping on B&M hypers.

I never said there was airtime. There's obviously no airtime on that thing, but it's still cool to be going backwards at fast speeds and then hitting the back spike and twisting. Everyone else feels the same, but I guess you're different and can't feel the forces or something.

Uh...I'd rather ride MaXair.

Me too; MaXair is far better than any Impulse coaster could ever be.

And Steel Venom (S:UE) was far more interesting when it comes to the back spike - the sudden stop in the vertical position was alot more entertaining than just...slowly...spinning...around...an...axis...bored...as...sh*t...

Watching it from the ground is fun too...seeing all those feet jolt forward at once...

I feel as though your perception of speed is a bit weird. I mean, you say you can't feel the acceleration on Dragster and that it is like a granny is pushing the train along in a power chair, and now you're saying this is slow. I dunno where you get that 120 and 72 miles per hour are slow.

Watching it from the ground is fun too...seeing all those feet jolt forward at once...

That is pretty cool, I must admit. But, Corkscrew looks cool from the ground too.

In the case of Dragster, there is definitely a feeling of speed, but the acceleration is, in my opinion, garbage. It feels about the same as, say RnRC, Poltergeist, Greezed Lightnin' - it's a launch, but not a notable one.

Kingda Ka FEELS noticeably more powerful to me. Hypersonic did as well.

Ka feels more powerful to me too, but Dragster is not far behind, at all. Ka's is about 36.5 m/s/s, whereas Dragster's is about 40 m/s/s. It's not that huge of a change. In the long run you can feel it, but not by that much.

And think; if something went 37 miles per hour in one second and didn't go any faster than that, would that make it a better launch than Dragster's because it accelerates faster, but reaches a speed that is far less?

(it was just average and powerful until I rode Italian Job, which is legitimately weak compared to the rest).

Aw, Italian Job has an awesome launch for being a family coaster. Certainly caught me off guard.

What's your point? It's quite obvious that SV/Voodoo/S:UE is a better coaster than Corkscrew.

My point was that your point was irrelevant. Just because a coaster looks good from the ground doesn't mean it's good, yet you used that in your argument against Wicked Twister.
