What's new

Another update:- Not all that much has changed, except for the tunel walls being painted black.

When this was announced I assumed this would be open for the start of the season but there's still no track on site. Is this more likely going to open in the summer?

Nah this thing should fly up as soon as track arrives. I mean the track for the Smiler arrived very late the previous year, if I remember correctly and that was meant to be open for the start of the season. Yeah it was delayed by a couple of months, which I'm pretty sure was due to problems with the foundation or something, could be wrong though.

Spring 2018 has been the official word since the initial announcement. There's very little to update on at the moment, the tunnel work is almost complete as is the base for where the shop floor/tunnel roof will be.

Well, that's the end of the "mudstruction updates", time to wake up and see some actual progress.

Not quite sure what to expect design/theme wise for this station to be honest. I know Mandy hyped up some sort of Japanese garden type thing so would naturally expect it to tie in, even in a minor way.

Had a trawl through some old stuff and found this, which annoyingly gives very little away. Kinda feel as though it will be kept to the basics though.

Blackpool's Stanley Park seems to have recently installed some Japanese garden type arches. I like the idea of somebody going round the town flogging Japanese architecture off the back of a lorry.

Oh yeah, forgot about this, they did say everything would happen in the off season I guess.
Return of the Mack... fab song that.

Could really bring some of that authentic Blackpool bargain culture to this ride, oh yes!
