I'm so reserved when it comes to the High Five element, it's either gonna be really fun and floaty, or you're gonna slam into the right hand side of the car because the speed=banking is slightly off - just like on Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit (although that one is much more stretched out).

As long as it's not slow as **** like the crap top hat on Blue Fire. Anything is better than that.
 
Interesting to read there’s going to be “top secret” special effects in the tunnel. May well be a bit of theming after all?
 
Icon Construction/Out of Season Update 16/12/2017
  • An airtime hill is in place!
  • More track arrival.
  • A LOT more work progressing, and on a weekend!

I see the grey is blending in nicely with the Blackpool weather!

That turn after the immelman will be quite something!
 
My excitement for this has just increased a hell of a lot after seeing that photo. Wow, if this has enough speed it could really be great.
 
That airtime hill looks decent! Once that turn is completed, the whole second half of the ride will be in place, from the start of the non-inverting Immelmann to the transfer.
 
Opening day is just under a month away (10th Feb) so I assume it won't be ready for then. "Spring" is pretty vague but I assume that's not feb. Haven't been able to find any updates on the construction dated later than new year's eve either. Would be nice to distract from all the mouse hoo-ha.

It's definitely not opening next month, hopefully it'll be open sometime in April but there's no confirmed date that's publicly known yet.

I'll be filming an Icon update for Pleasure Beach Experience later on, the work men only resumed work on it two days ago after being down in London for a short while.
