It's like a good '**** you' to nature. It would've take you centuries to grow this tall, stupid tree, we did it in months.

Millennia, even. I looked it up once, and apparently it originated in the Nordic countries as a means to appease the spirits of trees that were chopped down for wood to the structure. But such spiritism predates even the Norse religions, so it has to have originated somewhere in the early Dark Ages at the very latest.

Saw this ride with my own eyes yesterday and it looks incredible. The way it towers over everything at the park is terrifying and the sightlines are amazing. Hopefully I can get back soon to ride it.
