Busch Gardens Williamsburg | DarKoaster | Intamin Family Multi-Launch (DarKastle Replacement) | 2023

So as per the IAAPA Orlando press conference schedule (2:10pm EST at Booth #1362), Holovis is involved in the DarKoaster project. They mostly specialize in dark ride tech but have done projection mapping and content creation for Mystic Timbers and Wicker Man. You can see their projects here; https://www.holovis.com/all-projects
Eww, they were the ones responsible for the Battle of Cedar Point?

They've done a hell of a lot more than that - great company, great products.
We cannot forgive them for this sin! REPENT HOLOVIS REPENT!!!

... But in all seriousness, hadn't a clue how much project variety and depth they have covered across the amusement industry, such as Wicker Man or Mystic Timbers. Definitely gives a thumbs up for having some good, compelling theming.

They did a pretty good job on the A/V elements in TWD at Thorpe Park as well, given how small a project it was with a low budget. Great media, lighting and sound design throughout.

Is it going to actually have jet ski trains? Or maybe i didnt see the right image it looks like jet skis in the photo.

^Knowing SEAS, it will likely be the same general fiberglass shell as the jet ski on Wave Breaker, with minimal changes to make it look a snowmobile.

Forgot to post this for anyone interested in what Sandor had to say about the ride, as well as Arctic Rescue and Catapult Falls.

There was a media tour the other day, offering a look at the coaster's train on site. A limited time preview center also opened up over the weekend, running through the coaster's outdoor queue with information displays;

The park is also running a Darkoaster theme at their Bürgermeister’s Hideaway from March 2 to 22, so we could very well see an opening during that time.

It looks cool and I like the theme and story behind it, but the name is so terrible. Someone clearly typed into ChatGPT dark roller coaster names... and Voila.

It’s actually a reference to the dark ride that formerly inhabited the building it’s in, Curse of DarKastle.

DarKastle, DarKoaster. You get the idea.
