It's an interesting thing to point out, but California's Great America will probably never get an investment as big as that ... I could see a Hyper or Giga before a Dive machine

How is a dive machine a bigger investment than a hyper or giga? Surely a hyper/giga would be a lot more expensive than an average dive machine.

Dive Machine's have massive track which costs a fortune and makes them significantly more expensive on a cost per meter of track basis but you're right on the balance of things a decent length B&M Hyper or Giga is at best around the same price, at worst a lot more expensive

Heres the rough cost of some rides for example.

Valravn 22m USD
Griffon 15.6m USD
Shiekra 13.5m USD

Fury 325 30m USD
Intimidator 23m USD
Diamondback 22m USD

Either way they are both very expensive. Of course other companies hypers may be cheaper :p

Some rides such as Krake, Oblivion (Gardaland), and Baron 1898 utilize the standard B&M track due to the 6-across train.

I do like the colour scheme on this coaster now. I think it's going to look excellent in the sun. :D
