Just a question: In terms of reliability and public response, how happy are Cedar Fair with Millennium Force? It's a very dominating coaster, and surely a hit amongst the public, but without the issues that the launched coasters seem to have (mainly because of the lack of a launch system).
Is it difficult to operate (that switch on the top that they have to flip every day excluded) and maintain, or just not as famous (in relation to other coasters in the park) as the other CF hypers, that they'd prefer B&M for every major project, or was the investment so much of a hit that they could contact Intamin again, if the need for a Hyper ever arose? Hey, that was a long and complex sentence.
It seems like Intamin is the thing for more complex layouts, or low-to-the-ground action, and B&M is great for hill clusters. It looks like B&M always has been the preferred choice everywhere, and that Itamin is contacted when they need something extraordinary (S:ROS - large turn, MF - taller than B&M wants to go, TD - goes around buildings, etc).
