Breaks my heart as crap as Excalibur is. That ride NEVER has had more than maybe a few train wait in the last decade and was always my go to on a crowded day.ECG said:Park plans submitted to the Corps of Engineers have been leaked showing Excalibur is being removed at the end of the season and being replaced with a parking lot for the water park. So not only no new cred, but one less.steel said:It's been 9 years since Renegade next season. Valleyfair really deserves more attention.
I believe the restriction is nothing over 250 feet at Valleyfair. Can't remember the exact number. Either way, that's no limitation for a nice invert. They've been deprived B&M as well as inverting coasters at that park for years.steel said:We'll probably never see a giga at Valleyfair since there's an airport right across the river, but a dive machine or even just a standard high quality invert are totally in the cards IMO.
Yeah I remember when Power Tower opened there was a whole big thing because it's (I think) 275' or something and they had kind of fight to get permission. It's actually lucky the restriction is as high as it is because the airport is like... It can't be more than a couple miles away. It's only that high because the park is at the bottom of the river valley and the airport is on the top of the river bluff.valleyfair! said:I believe the restriction is nothing over 250 feet at Valleyfair. steel said:They also got rid of the beautiful old electric sign over the off season, which just absolutely breaks my heart. </////3 And Corkscrew is so ugly now and Mad Mouse is like offensive to even look at. And Mild Thing is gone. And Bernstain Bear Country and Challenge Park and the old log flume... It's not the park I grew up at anymore.
