Cedar Point | Steel Vengeance | RMC I-Box (Mean Streak Conversion)

It would be neat if each train was very different from each other..... but I think different colors are the best we might likely see. Are there any other roller coasters with separate themed trains more than color?
You've literally just described what they did on Maverick. Each train has a name and colour.

Right. I was using it as an example of a poor attempt at theme-ing trains. I'm hoping for MORE than color or a name. I'm thinking a totally different look if possible, within reason.

Like, if Disney's "Cars" was made into a roller coaster, their could be a Lightning McQueen train, a Mater train, Etc... They would look very different from one another.

Let's be honest - they're just going to go full Cedar Fair, throw on some old woodie PTC or Gerstlauer trains they have laying around, and call it a day.

I still can't help but feel that this will suffer from being "too big," and potentially not be as aggressive as some of the other RMCs. But, who knows? I could definitely be wrong, and either way, it's an RMC at my home park so huzzah, I am excited. I am with everyone when they say another inversion will likely be thrown in there. I can't see Cedar Point not going for the record.

I am looking more forward to coaster announcements than my birthday...

No, I absolutely agree with you. I think it's going to ride the same way as Wildfire does?

Exactly. Wildfire was rather tame. I was expecting a balls-to-the-wall ride experience because of the sheer size yet the forces semeed to be more average than, say, Wicked Cyclone. Not that it's a bad ride at all.

I am intrigued to see whether they will have 6 or 7-car trains (like on Mean Streak) and whether they will run 2 or 3 trains on this one.

Yeah. Wildfire is my least favourite RMC, that's not saying it's bad at all. It just isn't as good as Goliath nor Storm Chaser.

Can someone please get the third lap ledger photo from http://i.imgur.com/T6k0oxY.png and post it here? My work's ridiculous firewall blocked imgur from being displayed. I am now explaining to my net admin why the photo of the ledgers is not typical pornography; it's simply coaster pornography. lol :(

I've shared that hesitancy throughout as well. It will all boil down to pacing and speed loss with these large elements. I think the opening top hat will be the overall pace-setter; if that can be taken at speed without too much stall, I hope the rest of the first half will be golden. For the second half, it will all depend on how much trims are applied.

I sure do hope that it has the out-of-control pace that other RMCs have, and I think it will. Something to keep in mind about the wider curvatures and banking transitions is that this is going to be going through them faster than any other RMC. With the height that we expect from this, the top speed should be close to 80mph.

We can all agree that this will probably be the largest RMC project. That hill is massive and I'm suprised there's even room for the rest of the ride because of how tall the lift is. Does anyone have an idea on how tall this will be? 200 feet? 300 feet? Somewhere in between?

Welcome to every other page of this entire discussion. More than 200 is all anyone has surmised.
