Ooh, Finland could be fun, though judging by their website, Powerpark doesn't appear to be open that weekend? It's open the week before and the week after, though.

The Walibi Holland/Toverland in September option overlaps with the ECC’s Walibi Holland trip. That means that at least on the Saturday we could do ERT with the ECC. 😁

Happy to see the topic - and to see Alton as a possibility :)

Similar to Plopsa, the cost:cred ratio of Netherlands would probably price me out, but Toverland in a group is fab and it's been too long... so I won't rule it out just yet.

Finland I'm very keen and the timing suits me.

The Dutch trip is a maybe if it's in July, but I do want to go to Walibi for Halloween again, so it's 50/50 for me atm.

I could definitely do Alton Towers (and I was planning to go this spring anyway!), I'm not intending to do anymore international trips until the Autumn or late summer so I don't know if I'd be down for the Finland option; I'd definitely be up for doing Holland in the Autumn and Port Aventura 100%!

Wasn't planning on going to Alton Towers this year but I could do it in March for the Live as it's only an hour from me and not a massive commitment - would be nice to go to a live where I'm not stressing about getting certain creds like the anxiety at the Thorpe one last year.

Finland I am less interested in as I did Linnanmaki last year, plus it's an expensive trip with no airport near me that flies there. Even though Taiga is a ****ing banger I'd rather do a completely new trip from an airport that isn't 3 hours away.

I might be planning my own trip in August or September but I don't know yet so I haven't voted for the Holland ones.

I'm quite interested in the either weekend for Port Aventura as long as all the coasters are open - might be a good way to end the year, funds and annual leave notwithstanding. Would be up to fly from Brum with people so it's more fun and less daunting.

Seems I made a few errors here, that's what you get for trying to do too many things at once! Oops!

To clarify:

Alton After Dark would be on Sat 29th March.

PowerPark isn't open that weekend in August, so will have to find a different date to suggest if there's enough interest in Finland.

Leaning towards July for Walibi Holland / Toverland for wasp avoidance

Definitely up for Alton Towers. I'm hoping to be in Portaventura for my Birthday in December so unless you want to join me 😆 I've got 2 other holidays to plan and payout for this year so anything else especially abroad is probably a no.

Alton Towers is certainly doable for me. Still haven't done "New Nemesis" or Sub Terra so there is more reason for me to revisit Towers.

Would be interested in Walibi Holland to ride YoY, but it depends what funds are like as I have a big trip in May.

As much as I adore Taiga, I went to Linnanmäki recently so I would probably pass to hit up other parks.

Port Aventura is another park I would like to revisit as I haven't been since 2013 so I would definitely be interested.

Ohhh how exciting is this? An actual program of lives again!!! 😍

Whenever they fall, I'll try and at least make as many of the Saturdays as I can.

Finland would be a new country for me, still haven't been. The rest I've been to many times, and some I even have plans earlier in the year for, but they're all easy enough (and cheap enough) for quick return hops.

Has there ever been a Europa Park live? It's definitely one of those parks that you need free time in, to take it at your own pace. But I'd just head out a few days earlier, get that out my system before. Perhaps it's one for 2026/27, maybe when Holiday Park's transitional period is complete. Or maybe tag on Tripsdrill...

Ah yes! Yes I do! Corrected it now thanks

No worries, it did seem an obvious slip anyway.

Off topic, you'll have to put up with us at Download, since you're playing the one day I was definitely attending (haven't made my mind up on day vs weekend yet.) BTW, it's my daughters first full festival, she's doing the weekend with her friends, (she's a full on metal head, unlike me.) but we'll be together on the Friday, so I absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, intend to try and get 'cool Dad brownie points' by saying I know one of the band's lead singers. 🙈😂🤣😂 Hope that's ok?
