Coasters built into the surrounding landscape?

I live in Cincinnati and visit Kings Island regularly. One of my favorite attributes of the park is that many of the coasters are built into the surrounding landscape. This coming spring I'd like to make a trip to another park and was wondering which ones are similar to KI in that regard.

Thanks!

In your area, Holiday World will be a short trip with every coaster built into the landscape in some way. Plus, Voyage at night = sexual.

Bit of fanboy but, Muntanya Russa at Tibidabo is a great example of a coaster that is integrated into the surrounding landscape, just as much as Lisebergbanan is, just on a really smaller scale...

Wow, that looks amazing. Unfortunately, Spain is a bit out of my price range. I've been to Holiday World but it was in the late 90s. It looks like they've really stepped their game up.

Eagle Fortress anyone?

I think Scream is well landscaped.

In all seriousness, I think Lightning Rod uses the terrain well.

I feel people are missing the point of this topic when they suggest coasters abroad and ones that are shut.

Go with Holiday World. Silver Dollar City does it very well too.

^ I think I'm missing something, but why are people not supposed to mention coasters outside of their country.

Does that mean I'm stuck with Alpine coasters? No, those ain't creds. :(

^whosthedanger is planning a trip in the spring, and was wondering what parks have good terrain coasters. So in his area, Holiday World, Dollywood, and if you're willing to, Kennywood are great with the terrain.

If you're in the Cincy area, Dollywood is not that far from you and they have a few that use landscape well. Obviously Lightning Rod, the others do a decent job as well.

Uh, what coaster in Massachusetts is built into the terrain? Having lived there for some 23 years, I never saw one. (Jiminy Peak doesn't count)

^Sorry, I mean Connecticut. I thought Lake Compounce was in Massachusetts for some reason.
